Wayne Hall
Owner
Wayne is the face of the business, chief designer and project manager, turning dream kitchens from plans into reality.
When he isn’t designing, manufacturing or installing kitchens, Wayne loves to get out on his mountain bike and enjoys a round of golf.

Jody Hall
Owner
With a background in tax and accounting, Jody plays a key role behind the scenes at Kitchen Draw, keeping the books in order and making sure everything runs smoothly day to day.
Outside of work, Jody is a dedicated gym-goer who enjoys staying active.

Mark Hoffman
Right-Hand Man
Mark is officially the left handed right-hand man of Kitchen Draw. He and Wayne have a long working relationship spanning more than 20 years.
Mark says he has been designing kitchens “for a very long time” but relishes the challenge of transforming a space and making customers happy!

Jen Busby
Office Administrator
Jen enjoys being a member of the happy Kitchen Draw team. She is in charge of day to day invoicing and other paperwork
Born and bred Inglewoodian, she is married and has two children.

Krista Kemsley
Kitchen Designer
In early 2025 Krista joined the Kitchen Draw team.
Her experience in Architectural Drafting was a great kickstart to becoming a kitchen designer.
Krista is our main Residential Kitchen Designer, helping the design team with our trade customers when needed.

Praneet Kumar
Machine Shop Expert
Praneet joined the Kitchen Draw team mid 2025 as our machine shop expert.
He brings a wealth of CNC Router and Edgebander experience.
Praneet enjoys fishing and hunting in his down time, and spending time with his wife and son.

Jayden Gill
Cabinet Maker
After 19 years working at Kitchen Designz Jayden gladly transferred to Kitchen Draw on the acquisition of the business at the beginning of 2025.
His experience and quality workmanship is a huge asset to the Kitchen Draw team.

Tom McKegney
Cabinet Maker
After starting his cabinet making apprenticeship with a previous joinery shop, Tom is continuing his training under the experienced staff of Kitchen Draw.

Blair Cann
Kitchen Designer
Blair came to Kitchen Draw in February 2026. With many years of experience in the kitchen industry throughout the north Island, Blair is a huge asset to our team.
He’s mainly be found in the office helping with drawing, detailing and coordinating installations. His experience will also be used from time to time on the tools.

Mark Hicks
Machine Shop Expert
After 18 years with his previous employer, Hicksy came to us in March 2026 as a machinery operator, running our CNC Router and Edgebanding machines.
History Timeline
From its humble beginnings in Gisborne in 2001, the business has grown into its dedicated showroom and manufacturing base in Inglewood, Taranaki.
2001
The Beginning
After his early working years as a CAD draftsperson at a sheet metal company in Auckland, Wayne took a job as a kitchen design assistant and the seed was planted for the future of Kitchen Draw.
With a move back to Wayne and Jody’s home town of Gisborne Kitchen Draw was started. From starting as just a design studio it grew into a full kitchen manufacturing business with 6 staff.
2011 saw Wayne and Jody close Kitchen Draw Gisborne and move to Taranaki. Wayne was employed by Kitchen Designz working as a commercial cabinetry sales person and detailer
2014

A Fresh Start in Taranaki
Kitchen Draw relaunched in Inglewood — starting from a home workshop at a residential property.
The first Kitchen Draw Taranaki kitchen rolled out the door, marking the beginning of a new chapter.
2015 & 2016

Building Momentum

Celebrated 1 year of trading in Taranaki

With 86 kitchens completed within the first two years
- Growth continued while operating from the home-based workshop
- A strong local reputation began to take shape.
2017

Outgrowing the Workshop
Demand quickly outgrew the home-based setup:

Workshop pushed beyond capacity

New commercial premises were secured on Richmond Street, Inglewood late 2017

Transition into the dedicated showroom and manufacturing space
2018

New Building
With a new showroom and upgraded facilities, Kitchen Draw trasnsitioned into the more professional space — ready to deliver more kitchens, more efficiently.
2020

Lockdown!!!
During the uncertainty of COVID-19:
