History Timeline

From its humble beginnings in Gisborne in 2001, the business has grown into its dedicated showroom and manufacturing base in Inglewood, Taranaki.

2001

The Beginning

After his early working years as a CAD draftsperson at a sheet metal company in Auckland, Wayne took a job as a kitchen design assistant and the seed was planted for the future of Kitchen Draw.

With a move back to Wayne and Jody’s home town of Gisborne Kitchen Draw was started. From starting as just a design studio it grew into a full kitchen manufacturing business with 6 staff.

2011 saw Wayne and Jody close Kitchen Draw Gisborne and move to Taranaki. Wayne was employed by Kitchen Designz working as a commercial cabinetry sales person and detailer
