Meet the Kitchen Draw team

Wayne and Jody Hall

Husband and wife team Jody and Wayne Hall are the proud owners behind Kitchen Draw.

From its humble beginnings in Gisborne in 2001, the business has grown into its dedicated showroom and manufacturing base in Inglewood, Taranaki.

Wayne is the face of the business, chief designer and Project Manager, making dream kitchens turn from plans into reality.

He started his career as a CAD draftsperson at a sheet metal company in Auckland, before being put in charge of quoting, design and production co-ordination. He then decided a change of direction was needed and took a job as a kitchen design assistant and the seed was planted for the future of Kitchen Draw.

When he isn’t designing, manufacturing or installing kitchens, Wayne enjoys fishing, plays drums and guitar at his local church and is a passionate Inglewood Affiliated Football Club member and player.

With a background in tax and accounting, Jody helps keep the paperwork in order while caring for their two sons. She also enjoys playing netball and is an active member of their church community.

Helen Rose

Kitchen designer Helen Rose hails from the UK and came to live in Taranaki with her husband Chris and three young children in 2016. With a degree in Interior Architecture and more than 10 years of kitchen design experience for some of the best-known kitchen companies in England she has the passion and knowledge to create beautiful kitchens that really become the heart of the home.

Jen Busby

Office administrator Jen Busby is in charge of invoicing and other paperwork and enjoys being a member of the happy Kitchen Draw team!

A born and bred Inglewoodian, she is married to Nathan and has two children, Madison, 5 and Jaxon, 3.

Stephen Wanden

The newest member of the Kitchen Draw Family, Steve brings many years of cabinet making and joinery experience to his role of overseeing the workshop and onsite installations.

Married with two young children, Steve is a very active and fit person who completes full Ironman events for fun! Being a volunteer Fire Officer for the Inglewood Fire Station means he just has to dash across the road from Kitchen Draw when the alarm sounds.

Blake Hooper

Second year apprentice Blake Hooper is learning his cabinet-making skills in the Kitchen Draw workshop under Wayne’s watchful eye.

The former Inglewood High School pupil joined the team after Wayne asked him if he would like to help out during a busy period – and enjoyed it so much he never left!
